South African telecommunications firm Telkom has won its second battle against cybersquatters in two months, seizing five domain names using its brand name from a rival company. The disputed Domain Names were telkombusiness.co.za, telkom-business.co.za, telkom-internet.co.za, telkomcorporate.co.za and telkom-corporate.co.za. An independent arbitrator ruled that the rival company, Customer Care Solutions, had no right to the domain names and that they were registered in bad faith. This comes after Telkom won back telkommedia.co.za from Cool Ideas. Arbitrators decided that in both cases, the domains had been registered with the intention of preventing Telkom from securing them.
