New software product Purplenova 3.1 gives home computer users the opportunity to use their high-speed broadband connections to host websites at home, complete with Domain Name support. The technology protects the user's computer from viruses and other malware, as well as attempts to access data which has not been explicitly cleared for public viewing. The HTTPS protocol is supported so that private data can also be accessed over the secure connection. Designed with the layperson in mind, uploading content is a simple matter of dragging and dropping.
