Innovative company Scandinavian Airlines is flying high with its latest take-off. The airline has launched SAS.mobi, the first .mobi site from a major airline.
The mobile version of the airline's web site which offers a host of features, ranging from check in, time tables, flight status to the SAS frequent flyer program - EuroBonus.
"We understand that business and leisure travellers need access to the most up-to-date information while they're on the go. At SAS.mobi, passengers can check on timetables and promotional offers as well as get updates on flight status, news and weather around the world." said Morgan Svensson, Manager IT Solutions at SAS Business Opportunities. Adimo, a Swedish mobile portal developer created the SOS.mobi site for the airline giants. They have highlighted what can be achieved with mobile sites by creating interesting, innovative content and business models using the .mobi domain and its standards.
