Luck.Com Sells For $675,000 After Owner Considered Offers as Low as $50K

Rumours have been bouncing around the internet that domain name Luck.com has sold for an eye-watering $675,000.

The six figure sale was said to be auctioned through the domains marketplace site Afternic after reports that Luck.com was spotted in the recently sold domains list on the site. It has now been removed from Afternic – probably a request from the new buyer. The domain name doesn’t seem to have exchanged ownership yet either.

And it looks like the previous owner got a payout much higher than they initially expected. According to Luck.com’s previous web pages on Archive.org - the owner was originally willing to accept a minimum bid of $50,000 back in 2002.

The domain name- which was originally a domain registration in 1998 - was most likely involved in a fierce bidding war but it is nice to see that the owner got a better deal this time round.
