The domain name Jets.com has sold for a whopping $375,000 on Sedo.com. The auction website has announced its biggest sale of the week but there is still no owner listed in the whois information.

The domain is still in the transfer process at the Sedo.com domain name marketplace. And although $375,000 is a sum to make your eyes water, it is actually quite a fair price for the buyer - whom ever that may be.

Around August 1st 2009 Sedo was hired by the seller of the Jets.com domain name and just seven weeks later the seller has agreed on a sale price. It will be interesting to see who the buyer is although the rumoured main contender is American football team the New York Jets. However it could be just a smart investor hoping to cash in.
