ICANN Domain Report on Registerfly Transfer

It seems that ICANN has found a new registry to replace RegisterFly. The ex-registrar has transferred any Domain Name previously owned to a new body, but ICANN have not mentioned who they are. RegisterFly continuously violated the ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement and lost the ICANN accreditation. The company were involved in litigation with previous customers, ICANN and even themselves.

The company is basically dead after a bitter personal breakup between two co-founders, Kevin Medina and John Naruszewicz, led to a power struggle for control of the company. A bizarre series of events ensued, in which supporters of each individual hacked back and forth into each other's servers, vying for control of domain registration data.

CEO Kevin Medina has repeatedly failed to show up at court to answer ICANN's litigation, and apparently is on the verge of being held in contempt, which could result in jail time. Allegations of gross mismanagement of company funds - for prostitutes, liposuction and show grade chihuahuas - have dogged Medina for months, and many upset former customers will be more than happy to see him dressed in jail casual.
