For a small period of time hackers managed to redirect visitors to IANA and ICANN web pages to a page stating “You think that you control the domains but you don’t!” These two organisations manage and control the translation of domains names to IP addresses.

The hackers who called them self’s NetDevilz managed to redirect, iana.com, iana-servers.com, icann.com and icann.net. This has been associated with other attacks that have taken place on the next in the past week which have been pointed at the same IP address.
