Domainmonster now fastest growing ICANN registrar
The latest figures are in and confirm that domains remain hot property in the continued tough climate. Domainmonster.com now ranks in the Top 30 fastest growing ICANN registrars worldwide and the fastest (Number One!) for the UK¹, achieving a 92% success rate securing .cm domain real estate, and over 99% in the recent .mx domain launches.
ccTLD's (Country code top level domains like .us, .uk, .cm, .mx & .me) continue to grow at an astonishing 14% year on year rate² and now account for nearly half the total domain registrations worldwide, at 74.4 million of the current 184 million total live domains. Usage of the Internet has grown by 29%³ over the last six months alone and just short of 90% of websites now resolve to active pages, demonstrating an ever exploding Internet.
Effectively securing your real estate
Recent months have seen Domainmonster.com put a lot of focus into our Back Order capacity. We gained a second ICANN accreditation for our US business that doubled our capacity to register gTLD (Generic Top Level Domain) domains and have invested significantly in improving our technology for Back Orders specifically.
We now receive more than 2500 downloads per day of our daily expiring domains file and are securing 3 times the number of Back Ordered domains each day than we did just 12 months ago.
Remember we don't charge until we succeed, continue to have the industry's most competitive Back Order pricing and only take one Back Order per domain.
If you've missed the news about the jets.com sale this week, we noticed that "weekendjets.com" drops today and think it's much more suited to that perfect weekend away than jets.com at just our regular domain price + a small Back Order fee.
