ccTLDs - Domain Names In The Republic of Cameroon
According to a report in The Times the Republic of Cameroon is making a lot of money from people mistyping ‘.com’ on websites and being re-directed to non-existent web domains.
Internet users who type in ‘.cm’ will be redirected to ‘agoga.com’ which is an advertising page. A deal was arranged last year for this set up with Kevin Ham who is estimated to hold 300, 000 Domain Names.
