Mouzz Interactive Domains Lose ICANN Accreditation
ICANN has authorised a bulk transfer of Mouzz Interactive Inc.’s gTLD domain names after it has de-accredited the domain name registrar. The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) have found Mouzz – who register domain names for the public – to have breached their Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA).
As a result, former domain registration customers of Mouzz will have their domains transferred away from their familiar control panel settings and to another registrar. And it looks like Mouzz is in real trouble as they will not be allowed ever to register or manage global top level domains again.
ICANN have stated the following:
"Mouzz Interactive’s Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA) was terminated by ICANN because of Mouzz Interactive’s failure to comply with the requirements of the RAA. As a result, Mouzz Interactive is no longer permitted to register or manage gTLD registrations."
The disgraced registrar came under fire for failing to pay the required accreditation fees to ICANN.
